To send me an email, please use the form below. Alternatively you can leave a comment on the appropriate page or post and check back for replies.
Before you contact me: please read the FAQ & search the site first. I do not have time to repeat myself twice, thrice, a hundred times, & beyond. Also – very important – make sure you know what “vegan” means & understand that this blog, myself, my family, etc are ethical vegans, & we make no exceptions on that stance of compassion.
If you want more info on the above or on blog commenting, please refer to the site Contact & Comment Policy below the contact form… Got all that? Good! Then I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks xo
Contact & Comment Policy
This blog is committed to ethical veganism, gluten-free recipes, & an eco-friendly, healthy life for all creatures great & small, human & non-human.
If you’re not sure about leaving a comment, please consider any or all of the following:
♥ Is my comment a positive contribution to the community/author?
♥ Am I responding thoughtfully or kindly, or am I just reacting?
♥ Is my comment going to be useful to anyone else?
♥ If I have a question, have I made sure the answer is not somewhere else on this site by using the search function or checking out the FAQ?
♥ Is my comment relevant to this post?
♥ Is my email query relevant to this blog?
If you’re not sure about whether to comment, sleep on it or come back again later… But, please, don’t be shy about saying hello!
Abuse, rudeness, trolling, & glaringly obvious irrelevancy in comments reflects poorly on the giver rather than the recipient. I will block, ban, delete, &/or ignore comments & emails whenever it becomes necessary.
This blog is for the whole, big, wide world out there with access to the internet & a reasonable command of the English language. I, myself, live in Australia. If what you say is wholly unrelated to veganism as it affects the world-at-large, then it’s probably irrelevant & will most likely be deleted, especially if it’s a lengthy comment about how vital excess consumption & environmental destruction is to the US economy & to safeguarding “our precious way of life.” (Seriously! What!) Like many issues, politics has a place in veganism, so if there’s an obvious, useful, internationally-relevant connection, that’s fine – we like critical thinking around here! But we don’t like mindless capitalist rhetoric… or any other sort of rhetoric for that matter. But please refer to the title of the blog for what the subject matter of your comments ought to contain.
Additional notes on the “vegan” part of “glutenfreevegan” -
… which unfortunately seems necessary… Make sure you know what vegan means. I do not use (abuse) animal-derived products inside or outside my home, nor do my family, nor do my adopted pets/companion animals. Ethical concerns such as animal rights, human rights, civil rights, women’s rights, etc, always come first for us: the betterment of health for ourselves, others, & the planet flow on from that, not the other way around. Good life, good health, & a good ecological footprint can not be obtained at the expense – from the abuse, commodification, & destruction – of others. “Gluten-free” and/or “raw” are both different ways to eat, but being “vegan” is so much more than a dietary requirement or just another way to avoid allergies or ill-health.
This blog is about gluten-free living AND vegan living. Veganism is a much bigger issue than simple gluten-free eating (yes, simple! It’s only difficult if you choose to make it that way!), so there’s bound to be more content on that. You’re welcome to not read this blog if you find ethical veganism too challenging. If, however, you just don’t know much about it, you’re welcome to hang around, learn, ask questions, & read books on the subject… In fact, please do!
Put simply: Comments or email queries regarding non-vegan food, non-vegan cooking, or non-vegan living will be ignored or deleted if necessary. Your answer to these questions is always: I have no interest in contributing to hurting animals, my health, your health, or the planet.
Most important to remember is that veganism, overall, is about seeking out happiness & compassion for all… including me & you! So don’t forget to smile.
Peace. ♥
